What's Good about College Sports?

With the transfer portal, conference realignment, and "name, image and likeness," big changes are afoot in college sports. Will the influence of money utterly corrupt college sports? Or will athletic programs continue to cultivate important virtues, develop character, and promote a culture of belonging and purpose? If so, how?

Join us for a panel of experts including:

  • Linda Livingstone, PhD, President of Baylor University, Chair of the NCAA Board of Governors, and Chair of the Big 12 Conference Board of Directors
  • Coach Dave Aranda, Head Football Coach at Baylor University
  • Sawyer Robertson, Baylor Football Quarterback
Moderated by John White, the Harold and Dottie Riley Associate Professor of Practical Theology at Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary and Director of the Sports Chaplaincy/Ministry Program.

This conversation is hosted by Baylor in Washington, along with the support and partnership of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.

Cost: $15 per person
