In the legal industry, the topic of lawyer vs non-lawyer firm ownership is a hot topic. In this roundtable discussion, Vice Chief Justice Ann A. Scott Timmer, Andy Kvesic, Professor Maya Steinitz, and Paul Ward will explore Arizona and other jurisdictions' paths to allowing alternative business structures, the purposes behind the decision, and the conflicting views on the ethics of allowing law firm ownership by non-lawyers.
