The first conference of the Evangelical Studies Program is to be held in October 2020 on the history of Latin American Evangelicalism. The conference was to have been held in person, but in the light of the coronavirus pandemic it has been rearranged as a virtual event. It will now take place on the mornings of Wednesday 7 October, Thursday 8 October and Friday 9 October, on each day between 8 a.m. and 12 noon Central Time. Papers will be pre-recorded and will be followed by Q & A sessions in which registered participants may contribute. There will be papers dedicated to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Puerto Rico as well as thematic papers on theology, charismatic renewal, historiography and demography. For the titles, please see the conference program on Baylorisr.org.

Participation is free, but registration is essential. Please complete this registration form. Closer to the conference, registrants will receive information for how to join via Zoom. On the Wednesday and Thursday there will be opportunity after the morning session for sectional interest groups to hold on-line meetings. To find out what their themes will be, please consult Baylorisr.org shortly before the conference.
