Associate Dean for Research & Scholarship
Furthering the research and scholarship mission of the University by assisting Louise Herrington School of Nursing faculty and students in statistical consultation for research and scholarly projects.
Description Pct. of Time
Work collaboratively with School of Nursing faculty on grant writing and implementation and dissemination of funded projects. Provide expert guidance to include areas such as study design and measurement; sampling; power analyses; and interim and final analyses. Assist with statistical sections of abstracts, presentations and manuscripts. 45%
Collaborate and provide expert guidance to School of Nursing faculty and students to conceptualize, design, analyze and assist with written dissemination of the results of research studies and other scholarly projects. 30%
Work collaboratively with the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship to strengthen faculty statistical competencies through in-person and web-based sessions. May be asked to teach a Statistics course for Nursing graduate students (no more than 1 course per trimester). 25%
